AUCTION RULES
1. All lots are sold as genuine, unless otherwise noted. In case of doubt a lot might be returned or submitted for expertization. Fees will be paid by seller, if the stamps are forged, or by buyers if they are genuine.
2. All items may be returned for any reason (with exception of collections of 10 stamps or more) within three days of receipt.
3. Bids must be made in U.S. Dollars, the lowest bid is $0.25.
4. Prices shown in the auction are the starting bids. Lower bids are not acceptable by the auction program. Generally a bid of 50% above the starting price will buy a lot.
5. The highest bidder buys the lot at a slight advance over the previous high bid.
6. Bids must be made for each lot, not for groups of lots. “Buy at any price” bids will not be accepted.
7. In case of a tie, the earliest bidder buys the lot. That is why it is so important to send your bids as soon as possible.
8. No commission is paid by buyers, except postage and insurance.
9. Auction closes promptly at noon of the date of the auction and no late bids are accepted.
10. Telephone bids, before the close of the auction are honored, but must always be confirmed with written mail or e-mail.
11. You will be billed promptly after the auction closes. Payments are due within THREE DAYS. Make your checks, money orders, international postal money orders, or cashier’s checks in U.S. FUNDS payable to V. Zabijaka. All checks must be written either on U.S. banks or on foreign banks that have branches in the U.S. Non receipt of payment within the required time will be interpreted as non-interest and your name will be removed from future auction mailings.
12. If you use PayPal for payment you must add 4% to cover part of my cost.
13. Sending of auction material is done on buyers account. Mailing risk passes to buyers as soon as the stamps have been delivered to Post Office. To avoid any risk you should request insurance for material valued less than $100.00. Purchases in excess of $100.00 will be insured or registered. You will be billed for insurance or registry.
14. Prices realized are available to those submitting self-addressed stamped envelopes.
15. Auctioneer is authorized to act on behalf of owner, and in case of any dispute, his decision is final.
